NETWORK AND DATA SECURITY:
OnNet24 takes security very seriously. We enlist the most advanced intrusion detection measures available, taking great care to insure full data and network security.
IPsec: Our network uses IPSec (IP security) technology to ensure confidentiality, integrity, authenticity, and replay protection across our network. Spoofing and sniffing—common network hacking practices—are an extremely unlikely scenario in this environment.
NIDS: We have an extensive Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS) to identify and eliminate threats before they occur. Hostile traffic is routed to a Honeypot system. Honeypots are programs that simulate network services on a computer's ports to redirect hackers away from vulnerable systems. Analyzed HoneyPot data helps us to identify new tools and exploits being utilized by the Black Hat community of hackers and network attackers.
Additional Network Protection: By using anti-virus, anti-spam, and other monitoring tools, we are able to scan all incoming and outgoing traffic for possible virus, worm, and Trojan propagation, as well as possible information leaks. All plain text protocols are disallowed or tunneled over SSL to protect against network sniffing. Windows Event Logs and System Logs are audited multiple times daily by automated systems as well as by humans. System wide scanning is performed routinely, and any vulnerabilities are identified and corrected. Bandwidth is analyzed by protocol to eliminate possible abuse. Additional proprietary procedures and protocols are in place to insure that Web.com has the most secure data center and network possible.
Our servers are independently certified daily by Scan Alert to protect your information from hackers by meeting all federal security audit requirements.
Intel Dual Xeon Servers
Our servers run Dual Intel Xeon processors with 2-4GB of RAM and RAID protected SCSI/SATA hard drives providing the power, versatility, and reliability required for high end servers. The combination provides outstanding performance and headroom for peak workloads, resulting in faster response times.

We operate out of two world class datacenters, ThePlanet and NAC. These two locations provide our clients with complete redundancy.
ThePlanet Datacenter
ThePlanet is located in Dallas, Texas and offers complete redundancy in power, network connectivity, and security. The network architecture utilizes the enterprise routing and switching engines from Juniper M20 routers and Cisco switches. The network is fully meshed and redundant with 10 tier one backbone providers with at least 1Gbps or greater uplink which includes AboveNet, AT&T, Broadwing, Global Crossing, Level3, nLayer, Sprint, Time Warner, UUNET, and Verio.
NAC Datacenter
NAC is located in Parsipanny, New Jersey and considered one of the best networks in the world. NAC is one of the largest providers in the Massachusetts to Washington DC area, with core market focus in New York and New Jersey and has connections to multiple tier one backbone providers including Level3, AboveNet, UUNET, InterNAP, Genuity and over 300 peering points and transit providers spanning three countries within North America and Europe.
